Ridiculous experience.
I ordered takeaway and initially requested delivery, which cost an extra €3. While I was still on the phone placing the order, I asked how long delivery would take and was told 40 minutes. I immediately said I would collect the order myself instead. Despite the fact that I was still on the call and the order hadn't even been completed, they refused to remove the delivery charge, claiming the order had already been placed.
The food itself wasn't the issue, but the customer service certainly was.
On a later visit, I went to collect another order and paid with a €50 note. The staff member immediately claimed it was fake. They had no machine to verify it, no counterfeit-detection marker, and made no attempt to check it properly. When I asked to see the note or suggested they shouldn't accuse customers of using counterfeit money without any way to verify it, I was told that she had "seen a lot of fake money" and therefore knew it was fake.
The accusation was made confidently and rudely, despite having no evidence. I then took the same €50 note next door, where it was accepted without any issue because, unsurprisingly, it was genuine.
Falsely accusing a customer of trying to pass counterfeit money and treating them disrespectfully is unacceptable. I won't be returning.

I ordered a family deal pizza chips and chicken popcorn. The pizza was grand but the chips were pure rubbish the worst iv ever had only fit for the bin.they were reheated 2or3 times before I got my order the colour of the chips were dark brown and must have been cooked the day before.the chicken popcorn was not far off eating sawdust super dry and over cooked. Pizza max if this is the crap you are serving the local people of castleblayney you should pull the shutters. Hard earned money is hard got nowadays. And to get rubbish for dinner is a joke.
